Golf Overview

Squire Creek is a private, members-only facility, which features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio. The course was ranked as one of the top 10 best new courses in America by Golf Digest in 2004. Squire Creek's 18 championship holes are hand cut into the Northern Louisiana landscape. They offer a fair but challenging test to players of all calibers. The 7,105 yard, par 72 layout is characterized by a gentle rolling plain and plays feature to neighboring beautiful Southern style homes. Natural views and picturesque scenery surround our property to provide a perfect escape.

A par four that plays as a slight dogleg right. A small pond guards the right side. The approach shot is to a two-tiered green that slopes left to right.

    • Directions
      From Interstate 20, take Exit 93- Choudrant/Sibley. Drive north for a quarter of a mile and take a left on LA Highway 820. Proceed 2.3 miles to Squire Creek entrance on the right.  Continue down Squire Creek Parkway to Clubhouse entrance on the left.  Bag drop is located on the left side of the clubhouse.

      General Guidelines
      Squire Creek Country Club is a private country club open to members and their guests.  Guests may play with a member 5 times per year and once every 60 days.  Unaccompanied guests play is not allowed on Saturday or Sunday.

      On Arrival
      Guest should pull to the bag drop area and a golf service staff member will assists with your clubs.

      Golf Shop
      Proceed to the golf shop on back/left corner of clubhouse to check in.  The Squire Creek Golf Shop Staff, 19th Hole, and Fazio Grill will not accept cash.  Guests may charge to a member's account or pay with a credit card. A Golf Professional will direct guests to locker room to change shoes if necessary.  Golf shop hours are 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.  The driving range and practice facilities open 1/2 hour before the first available tee time.

      Proper Dress

      Golf attire is appropriate in the Clubhouse at all times.  Denim jeans are not appropriate attire on the practice facilities or the golf course.  Shorts are permitted at any time.  The use of metal spikes is prohibited on the practice facilities as well as the golf course.

      ROBERT SMITH

      DIRECTOR OF GOLF
      Robert started his professional career at Squire Creek after graduating from the PGA Golf Management Program at Mississippi State University in 2011. After four years as an Assistant Golf Professional, Robert became the Head Professional at Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, MS. In 2016, he returned to Squire Creek as the Head Golf Professional before becoming the Director of Golf in 2020. Along the way, Robert has earned a few honors. He was named Ping Top 100 National Fitters of the Year in 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2021, Robert received the Merchandiser of the Year – Private Award for the Gulf States PGA. He was the Ping Power Fitter Award winner in 2022 and 2023.

      DEBBIE RIVERS

      TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
      Debbie has been teaching at Squire Creek since 2008. She is a member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association in the Teaching Division since 1990. Debbie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University and a Master of Education in Counseling from Northeast La. University. Debbie is a Level 3 TPI Certified Golf Professional & Level 2 Junior Golf.
